We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual as an Application Trainer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: assisting with the planning, coordination, and administration of training programs for MicroPact customers; ongoing product education for customers to support MicroPact’s products; writing training documentation, application notes, quick reference guides, and datasheets.

The Trainer will work in a fast paced, highly flexible team and client environment. The ideal candidate must have proven training skills working with applications in a rapidly changing environment and the ability to interact with clients and senior staff members from various organizations in the firm, industry, and government communities. Intermediate to expert skills in the Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Visio, Snagit, and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) are required. Previous object-oriented development experience is a plus.

Position Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated skill, knowledge and experience in the analysis, development and delivery of training on a variety of applications
  • Demonstrated skill, knowledge and experience training varying complexities of business processes
  • Grounded in industry standard instructional design models to maintain formal training curriculums and related coursework such as manuals and exercises
  • Demonstrated skill in producing instructor and student materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Adobe PDF applications
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • The ability to conduct professional software application training for internal and external audiences
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to continuously expand knowledge and understanding of new and updated products, standards, and processes
  • Proven organizational and training skills
  • Ability to take initiative and provide solutions with limited direction
  • Desire and capability to become a subject matter expert on the entellitrak platform and associated modules
  • Infinite patience, tact, maturity, and a good sense of humor
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Dynamic presentation skills

  • Experience in delivering virtual training
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira)
  • Advanced skills with the Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia Studio
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar qualification
  • Demonstrated skill, knowledge, and experience in developing and maintaining SCORM compliant eLearning content
  • Experience training applications that rely on Java, SQL (relational databases), HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and/or Camtasia Studio
  • Experience with using and administering Learning Management Systems (LMS)
